Garlic Grilled Tomatoes

This recipe makes a great appetizer or side dish!




Ripe Tomatoes, halved


Garlic cloves, crushed and chopped

¼ cup

Liquid Gold Extra Virgin Olive Oil

¼ cup

Parmesan Cheese, grated

¼ cup

Fresh Basil, chopped


Black pepper & Sea salt to taste


Toss halved tomatoes with a splash or two of Extra Virgin Olive Oil a dash of sea salt & black pepper. In a small pan or pot, heat remaining Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Add chopped garlic, basil and parmesan cheese. Cook until golden, remove from heat. Place halved tomatoes cut side down on grill until you achieve grill marks. Turnover and spoon in Oil/cheese mixture. Continue cooking for another minute or so.
