Frantoio is one of the most interesting olive varietals - originally from Tuscany in Italy. This particular one, grown and processed in Argentina captures the fantastic floral grassiness of a very well made, early harvest Frantoio. It has a slightly ripe nutty and buttery undertone, but is dominated by green herbal and fresh cut grassy flavours along with mint, citrus, black pepper, and cinnamon. It is perfectly balanced, very fresh, and deeply complex.
