Black Olive Tapenade


Originating in the South of France, "tapenade" is derived from tapenas, the Provencal word for capers. So capers are a must along with olives, lemon juice, spices, and of course extra virgin olive oil. The salty earthiness of black olive tapenade is the perfect complement for pasta or a spread on crostini or bruschetta.

Ingredients: Black olives (olives, salt, ferrous gluconate), kalamata olives, extra virgin olive oil, capers, spices, lemon juice concentrate, lactic acid, salt, and distilled water.
